4,536 Part-Time PPPK Officials Officially Receive Governor's Decrees in NTT
As many as 4,536 part-time Pegawai Pemerintah dengan Perjanjian Kerja (PPPK) in the Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) provincial government have officially received the Governor’s Decree (SK). The handover was conducted directly by NTT Governor Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena at the Governor’s Office, on Tuesday (31/3/2026).
In his speech, Laka Lena stressed that NTT requires civil servants (ASN) capable of providing solutions to various local issues, rather than merely performing administrative tasks.
“NTT needs ASN who are present as solutions, not just implementers, with empathy and sincerity,” said Laka Lena in his remarks.
He explained that the thousands of part-time PPPK who received the SK have met the requirements for appointment in 2026 and are now officially part of the NTT provincial government’s ASN. The local government, he said, has also allocated a budget to support the salaries of these PPPK.
“They are now officially ASN of NTT Province with part-time PPPK status. I, along with the Deputy Governor and the entire apparatus, have allocated the budget for these part-time PPPK,” he clarified.
According to Laka Lena, the appointment of PPPK, whether in phase I, phase II, or part-time, has been maximised so that all can be realised this year. He emphasised that the received SK is not the end, but the beginning of service to the community.
“NTT needs ASN who are present as solutions, not just implementers, with empathy and sincerity,” he asserted.
Meanwhile, the Head of the NTT Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD), Kanisius Mau, stated that the handover of SK to the 4,536 part-time PPPK is part of the 2025 budget implementation and falls under phase I. The handover process was conducted in a hybrid manner, with 248 participants attending in person and 4,288 others joining virtually.
“248 offline attendees, and 4,288 online or virtually,” he concluded.
