4,000 Bogor Residents Depart on Free Homecoming Journey from Pakansari Stadium

The Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab Bogor), together with the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), has held a free homecoming programme for residents. Approximately 4,000 residents departed on their free homecoming journey today.

“Approximately 4,000 residents of Bogor Regency are participating today in the free homecoming event with the Bogor Regency Government and the Bogor Police Resort,” said Bogor Regent Rudy Susmanto on Wednesday (18/3/2026).

Participants departed from Pakansari Stadium in Cibinong. A total of 77 bus units have been prepared to transport the free homecoming participants.

“The 2026 Bogor Regency Free Homecoming is slightly different because we have prepared a substantial number of vehicles, namely 77 vehicles: 40 from the Bogor Regency Government, 20 directly prepared by the Bogor Police Chief along with the Bogor Police Resort personnel, and 17 from collaborations with several private entities in Bogor Regency,” he explained.

Several cities are destinations for today’s free homecoming. These include West Java, Central Java, and East Java, with various routes taken.

“The destinations are Central Java, East Java, and some in West Java Province, as well as border areas and the southern Pantura region. Earlier, we also inquired up to Surabaya,” he stated.

Not only the outbound flow, he said that vehicles for the return flow will also be prepared later.

“And of course, it’s not just preparing vehicles for the homecoming; the Bogor Regency Government is also preparing for the return flow at several predetermined locations by the Bogor Regency Government,” he concluded.
