38,676 Vehicles Leave Jakarta via Cikampek Main Toll Gate

PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) recorded 38,676 vehicles leaving Jakarta towards the eastern Trans-Java Toll region via the Cikampek Main Toll Gate (GT) on Wednesday (13/05/2026). This figure represents a 42.92% increase compared to the normal traffic volume of 27,061 vehicles during the same period. Vice President of Corporate Secretary & Legal at PT JTT, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the increase in vehicle volume continued into Thursday morning (14/05/2026). “On Thursday, 14 May 2026, contraflow traffic arrangements were temporarily implemented on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road towards Cikampek, starting from KM 55 at 08:11 WIB, and later extended from KM 47 to KM 65 at 09:25 WIB,” said Ria, quoted from an official statement. These traffic arrangements are applied situationally based on police discretion and will continue to be evaluated according to on-site traffic conditions. In addition to contraflow implementation, JTT also optimised transaction services at the Cikampek Main GT to support smooth vehicle flow. Ria mentioned that they temporarily operated 17 lanes towards Palimanan and 13 lanes towards Jakarta. “Currently, the lane configuration has been normalised to 15 lanes each towards Palimanan and Jakarta,” she said. Meanwhile, vehicles from the eastern Trans-Java Toll region heading to Jakarta via the Cikampek Main GT were recorded at 28,094, an increase of 9.03% from normal traffic of 25,768 vehicles. Increased vehicle volumes were also noted on several toll road sections in Central Java and East Java managed by the JTT Group. At the Kalikangkung GT, vehicles heading to Semarang reached 20,408, a 31.44% increase from normal conditions of 15,527 vehicles. Vehicles leaving Semarang were recorded at 14,770, up 5.01%. At the Banyumanik GT, traffic towards Solo reached 27,828 vehicles, a 37.67% increase from the normal volume of 20,214 vehicles. Meanwhile, traffic towards Jakarta was recorded at 19,689 vehicles, up 19%. For the East Java region, vehicles heading to Surabaya via the Warugunung GT were recorded at 21,490, a 12.56% increase. The direction towards Jakarta reached 22,705 vehicles, an increase of 25.47% from normal conditions. At the Kejapanan Main GT, 25,310 vehicles headed to Malang, up 19.74%, while vehicles heading to Surabaya reached 24,009. Meanwhile, vehicles heading to Malang via the Singosari GT were recorded at 14,624, a 22.84% increase. Vehicles heading to Surabaya reached 12,722, an increase of 20.72% from normal volumes.
