37,367 Foreign Tourists Use Train Services in Bandung's Operational Area 2 During First Half of 2026

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 2 Bandung recorded that 37,367 foreign nationals used train services across its operational area during the first half of 2026, from January to June. Manager of Public Relations Kuswardojo stated on Monday (3/8/2026) that the railway is increasingly favoured by customers, with the company continuously prioritising safety, security, comfort, and punctuality. Improved connectivity to various tourist destinations has also made trains a primary choice for travellers. Bandung Station recorded the highest number of foreign passengers, with 28,078 individuals, accounting for approximately 75 percent of the total foreign passengers in the Daop 2 Bandung region.
