367 billboards to be pulled down
JAKARTA (JP): The West Jakarta administration has decided to pull down 367 billboards whose permits have expired.
The Chief of West Jakarta Tax and Revenue Office, T. Mulyono, said that 93 of the billboards to be pulled down are located in the Kalideres district, 24 bilboards in Tamansari district, 50 in Cengkareng district, 40 in Palmerah district and the rest is in Tambora district.
Mulyono was quoted by Antara as saying on Thursday that the mayoralty expected to receive around Rp 1.5 billion (US$684,306) this year but due to the expired billboards, received only around Rp 1.1 billion as of November.
Mulyono reminded business people whose billboards' permits are expiring to reregister 14 days before their expiration date at the mayoralty office. (mas)
