360 families to be resettled
JEMBER, East Java: About 360 families are awaiting resettlement in Sulawesi under the state-sponsored transmigration program.
They will be dispatched in January or February when the government has completed land clearance and housing construction in Sulawesi, a spokesman for the Jember office of transmigration office, Trisunu Prahoro, said yesterday.
He said the farmers would be employed at plantation projects in Central Sulawesi, Antara reported. (pan)
