36 Educators from Aceh Besar Provide Mentorship at Nagan Raya Integrated People's School
A total of 36 teachers and education staff (GTK) from Sekolah Rakyat Menengah Atas (SRMA) 1 Aceh Besar have been deployed to provide mentoring at Sekolah Rakyat Terintegrasi (SRT) 1 in Nagan Raya Regency.
“The presence of GTK SRMA 1 Aceh Besar not only assists with administrative work but also serves as a space for sharing experiences and good practices in the operation of Sekolah Rakyat,” said the Head of SRMA 1 Aceh Besar, Ilza Satriadi, in Aceh Besar on Monday.
He explained that the mentoring provided by SRMA 1 Aceh Besar is part of a spirit of mutual strengthening among Sekolah Rakyat education units. The mentoring also serves as a momentum for sharing experiences, learning together, and building an increasingly robust Sekolah Rakyat ecosystem.
He said the mentoring takes place from 4 to 14 August 2026, divided into two teams: the first team serves from 4–9 August 2026, while the second team serves from 9–14 August 2026. Each team consists of 18 people drawn from teachers, guardians, dormitory supervisors, school operators, and education staff/administrative personnel.
SRT 1 Nagan Raya Regency is one of the permanent Sekolah Rakyat institutions that has only been active since 31 July 2026. The school is located in the Suka Makmur Office Complex, Kuta Blang Village, Nagan Raya Regency.
SRT 1 Nagan Raya operates three levels of education: Sekolah Rakyat Dasar (SRD), Sekolah Rakyat Menengah Pertama (SRMP), and Sekolah Rakyat Menengah Atas (SRMA).
The total number of students reaches 330, consisting of 270 students from Nagan Raya Regency and 60 students entrusted from SRT 10 in South Aceh Regency.
In more detail, he noted that the primary level has 90 students, the lower secondary level has 90 students, and the upper secondary level has 90 students, with an additional 30 students entrusted from South Aceh Regency.
Meanwhile, in the area of student care and dormitories, GTK SRMA 1 Aceh Besar shared experiences with guardians and dormitory supervisors at SRT 1 Nagan Raya, particularly regarding student mentoring patterns, dormitory life management, task distribution, and student character development mechanisms.
The team also assisted in drafting SOPs and dormitory rules as part of efforts to build a care system that is well-directed, safe, comfortable, and supportive of student character development.
“Sekolah Rakyat does not belong to one school or one region. We are building an education ecosystem that requires collaboration, sharing of experiences, and mutual strengthening. What we have done in Aceh Besar is certainly still being evaluated, but the good practices we have can be shared with our colleagues in Nagan Raya, and vice versa,” he said.
