35 Jambi councillors investigated for graft

JAMBI: The Jambi Prosecutor's Office is currently investigating an alleged corruption case involving 35 current and former members of the Kerinci council.

The 11 current and 24 former councillors are being questioned over charges of embezzling state money worth Rp 1.3 billion (US$144,444) during their 1999-2004 term.
