33,785 Participants Complete KDKMP Training, 61 Withdraw

A total of 61 prospective manager candidates for the Red and White Village Cooperative (KDKMP) and the Red and White Fishermen’s Village (KNMP) did not complete the training for the Sarjana Penggerak Pembangunan Indonesia (SPPI) programme. Head of the Ministry of Defence’s Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM), Major General Ketut Gede Wetan, stated that in the first phase, 35,476 participants were allocated for education, comprising 30,000 prospective KDKMP managers and 5,476 prospective KNMP managers and operational staff. “However, from the implementation process, due to quite complex dynamics related to locations and other matters from the system using open bidding or an online system, both in further education after recruitment, the initial number entering the education opening format was 33,846,” Ketut said at the Ministry of Defence Office on Thursday (30/7). He stated that the training closure would take place on Friday (31/7). Ketut noted that 33,785 people had completed the education. “From the number opened until the finish, there are indeed 61 of our colleagues who could not continue,” he said. He explained that some participants stopped due to health reasons. Additionally, a number of participants chose to resign because they decided to continue their previous professions. Meanwhile, around 40 participants who could not continue the training because they were pregnant will be given the opportunity to attend education in the next wave. “However, all of these decisions will certainly be conveyed by the central national selection committee team for the follow-up of the next activities,” he said.
