A total of 321 foreign nationals (WNA) arrested in the bust of an international online gambling (judol) case in West Jakarta have been transferred to several immigration offices on Sunday (10/5).

The Police Public Relations Division’s spokesperson, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, stated that the transfer was carried out for further examinations in the handling of the case.

“Today, the transfer of 321 foreign nationals to several immigration examination locations for further processing is being conducted,” Trunoyudo said in his statement.

The hundreds of foreign nationals were moved to three different locations. A total of 150 people were taken to the Immigration Detention House (Rudenim), 150 to the Central Immigration Directorate, and the remaining 21 to the West Jakarta Immigration Office.

Trunoyudo mentioned that the handling of this case is being carried out in an integrated manner with several related parties, including immigration.

“This process is still ongoing continuously and simultaneously, including coordination with immigration authorities for further examinations,” he said.

The National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) has dismantled an alleged international online gambling network operating in the West Jakarta area. In the bust, police arrested 321 foreign nationals from various countries suspected of conducting online gambling activities.
