321 Foreign Nationals from Online Gambling Syndicate in Hayam Wuruk Transferred to Immigration Today
Police will transfer 321 foreign nationals (WNA) from the online gambling (judol) syndicate in an office building on Jalan Hayam Wuruk, West Jakarta, to the immigration office today. They will undergo immigration-related examinations.
“Today, the transfer of 321 WNA to several immigration examination locations for further processing is being carried out,” said Karopenmas Divhumas Polri Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko in a written statement on Sunday (10/5/2026).
He stated that the 321 WNA will be moved to three immigration facilities. 150 people will be transferred to the Immigration Detention House (Rudenim), 150 to the Central Immigration Directorate, and the remaining 21 to the West Jakarta Immigration Office.
According to him, this step is part of the simultaneous law enforcement process. He said Polri continues to coordinate with Immigration.
“This process is still ongoing continuously and simultaneously, including coordination with Immigration authorities for further examinations,” he added.
Previously, Polri had arrested 321 people in a raid on the online gambling (Judol) headquarters on Jalan Hayam Wuruk, West Jakarta. The WNA come from various countries.
Dirtipidum Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Wira Satya Triputra revealed that the WNA were caught red-handed while operating the judol website on Thursday (7/5).
“The perpetrators were caught red-handed, meaning they were carrying out operational activities or online gambling activities. From the perpetrators we secured, the number reached 321 people,” said Wira to reporters at the location on Saturday (9/5).
Wira also revealed that the WNA entered Indonesia using tourist permits or visas. He stated that the visas of the WNA have expired.
The nationalities of the WNA are as follows:
Vietnam: 228 people
China: 57 people
Myanmar: 13 people
Laos: 11 people
Thailand: 5 people
Malaysia: 3 people
Cambodia: 3 people.
