Bareskrim Polri is detaining 321 perpetrators of an online gambling (judol) syndicate in an office building on Jalan Hayam Wuruk, West Jakarta. A total of 320 foreign nationals (WNA) are being handed over to the Directorate General of Immigration.

“The plan for today is to hand over the perpetrators to the Immigration detention house, which will then be divided into two locations. The first is in Kuningan and the other in West Jakarta,” said the Director of General Criminal Acts (Dirtipidum) of Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Wira Satya Triputra, on Jalan Hayam Wuruk, West Jakarta, on Sunday (10/5/2026).

The reason for handing over the 320 perpetrators is their status as foreign nationals, so the handling is coordinated with the Directorate General of Immigration. Meanwhile, the one Indonesian national (WNI) perpetrator will still be taken to the Bareskrim Polri office.

“We need to convey that for the 321 perpetrators, we will hand over 320. Because they are foreign nationals. Whereas the one person will still be taken by us to Bareskrim,” he added.

As is known, 321 people were arrested in the raid on the judol headquarters on Jalan Hayam Wuruk, West Jakarta. The foreign nationals come from various countries.

Brigadier General Wira revealed that the foreign nationals were caught red-handed while operating the judol website on Thursday (7/5).

“The perpetrators were caught red-handed, meaning the perpetrators were carrying out operations or activities related to online gambling. From the perpetrators we successfully secured, the number reached 321 people,” said Wira to reporters at the location on Saturday (9/5).

Wira also revealed that the foreign nationals entered Indonesia using tourist permits or visas. He stated that the visas of the foreign nationals had expired.

Here is the breakdown of the nationalities of the foreign nationals:

  • Vietnam: 228 people

  • China: 57 people

  • Myanmar: 13 people

  • Laos: 11 people

  • Thailand: 5 people
