32 Victims of Israeli Colonial Brutality Evacuated from Gaza
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) participated in a medical evacuation operation towards the Rafah border crossing, transporting 71 people, comprising 32 patients and 39 companions. This operation is part of ongoing efforts to enable patients to receive medical treatment outside the Gaza Strip through the crossing, in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO). The patients were prepared and provided with various medical and humanitarian services at the Al-Mawasi Field Hospital managed by the PRCS. Medical and humanitarian teams provided the necessary healthcare and humanitarian assistance and ensured patients’ readiness before the medical evacuation, in order to prepare for their transfer and treatment journey outside the Gaza Strip. The PRCS team is committed to providing medical and humanitarian services to patients and the wounded, while supporting medical evacuation operations as part of their ongoing efforts to meet healthcare needs in the Gaza Strip.
