A total of 32 students who came to our health centre are mostly from Padarincang State Senior High School 1,” said Head of Padarincang Community Health Centre Uni Suhuda on Sunday, 24 May 2026.

According to Uni, students began visiting the health centre from Wednesday, 20 May, to Saturday, 23 May, after experiencing symptoms of nausea and diarrhoea.

“At the health centre, we conduct observation, administer intravenous fluids, and provide medication for those who recover. All reported symptoms are consistent: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and diarrhoea,” she said.

Uni noted two patients were referred to hospitals, requiring further medical treatment.

“Two patients required additional care following observation, so we referred one to Bhayangkara Hospital and another to Arafiq Hospital,” she added.

She stated no complaints had been reported from vulnerable groups such as pregnant women, and urged anyone in at-risk categories experiencing symptoms to seek immediate assessment.

“Currently, only school students have come forward; no vulnerable groups or pregnant women have reported symptoms,” she said.

“We urge vulnerable groups experiencing symptoms to report immediately to the health centre or hospital,” she added.
