32 Participants Attend Barista and Junior Make-Up Artist Training by Gianyar Regency Government
The Gianyar Regency Government is conducting training for baristas and make-up artists. A total of 32 participants are attending the 2026 non-boarding competency-based training (PBK) at the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the Agribusiness and Industry Vocational Training Centre (BLK) in Gianyar.
“The Gianyar Regency Government, through the Manpower Office, has officially opened the barista and junior make-up artist training programme,” said the Head of the Gianyar Regency Manpower Office, I Gede Suardana Putra, in his statement on Thursday (2/4/2026).
Suardana revealed that the training programme lasts for 23 days. Each programme consists of one training package. In addition to imparting knowledge about the barista and make-up artist professions, the training also emphasises skills and professional attitudes.
Upon completion, all training participants are expected to be able to compete in the job market. The Gianyar Regency Government also encourages the participants to create independent business opportunities.
“Competency-based training is a strategic step in improving the quality of human resources, particularly for job seekers in Gianyar Regency,” said Suardana.
Suardana stated that all funding for the training programme comes from the Gianyar Regency Regional Budget (APBD). “This programme is designed to bring training access closer to the community and enhance workforce competencies in line with market needs,” he concluded.
