Ancol was crowded with tourists during the Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriyah holiday. A total of 32,690 people visited the family tourism destination located in North Jakarta today. “We recorded 32,690 tourist visits until 6:00 PM WIB,” said Corporate Communication of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, Daniel Windriatmoko, in Jakarta, as reported by Antara on Wednesday, 27 May 2026. Daniel highlighted that the most visited areas were Karnaval Beach, Lagoon Beach, Festival Beach, and others. Additionally, attractions such as Dunia Fantasi (Dufan), Sea World, Samudera Ancol, and Jakarta Bird Land (JBL) also saw high visitor numbers. This year’s Eid al-Adha celebration saw PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk adopt the theme “The Spirit of Sacrifice in Ancol’s Transformation”. He explained that the theme was chosen to strengthen community bonds and demonstrate a commitment to growth through collaboration, mutual care, and sustainable transformation. Daniel stated that Eid al-Adha is a sacred occasion teaching sacrifice, sincerity, and the importance of sharing with others. Earlier, PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk held a collective Eid al-Adha prayer at Ancol Lagoon Beach on Wednesday morning. PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk’s President Director Syahmudrian Lubis delivered the sermon, while Imam Taufiqurrahman of Ancol’s Baiturrahman Mosque led the prayer. Syahmudrian said the spirit of sacrifice reflects care and solidarity and signifies a path toward sustainable corporate transformation. He added that collective positive energy forms a crucial foundation for stronger and more adaptive company performance. “We also express empathy towards others, especially the surrounding community. These values are consistently emphasised in all Eid al-Adha activities at Ancol,” Syahmudrian said. He added that through the company’s sacrificial animal programme, Ancol distributed sacrificial animals to underprivileged communities, social and religious institutions, and partners around the Ancol area. “This distribution not only fulfils religious obligations but also strengthens harmonious and solid brotherhood ties,” he concluded.
