32,000 Residents in Pandeglang Affected by Drought, BPBD Dispatches Clean Water

The Pandeglang Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) has recorded that 16 districts and 51 villages in Pandeglang Regency are experiencing drought conditions. This has resulted in 9,154 families being affected.

“The number of affected families is 9,15lar54,” said the Head of BPBD Pandeglang, Riza Ahmad Kurniawan, on Wednesday (2/9/2026).

Riza stated that as of August, the BPBD has distributed 407,000 litres of clean water. According to him, 32,432 individuals have received clean water assistance.

“The number of beneficiaries is 32,432 people,” he added.

The agency continues its efforts to provide clean water services to affected residents. He also urged the community to utilise water as efficiently as possible.

“We urge the public to use water wisely and sparingly, and to maintain environmental cleanliness to reduce the impact of the drought,” said Riza.
