Teheran — The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated on Monday, 9 March 2026 that Iran’s armed forces have successfully conducted the 30th wave of attacks against US and Israeli targets across the Middle East. The attacks were carried out using drones and hypersonic and ballistic missiles.
“Coinciding with the selection of the new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, the 30th wave of Operation True Promise 4 was executed with 100 per cent success,” the IRGC said, according to state television station IRIB.
The statement added that the attacks targeted “US terrorist bases” in the region and northern occupied territories using advanced missiles such as Khorramshahr, Fattah, and Kheibar, as well as strategic drones.
On the same day, Bahrain’s National Communications Centre stated that the Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) facility in Maameer village caught fire following the Iranian attack. The centre added that the attack caused no material damage and firefighting teams successfully extinguished the blaze.
Previously on 28 February, the United States and Israel launched attacks against targets in Iran, including Teheran, resulting in damage and civilian casualties.
On the first day of the conflict, a girls’ school in Iran came under attack, killing numerous schoolgirls who were in class. Iran responded by striking Israeli territory and US military bases throughout the Middle East.
