308 Seized Assets to be Auctioned by Attorney General's Office! Includes Harvey Moeis' Luxury Cars and Pharaoh-style Chair
The Asset Recovery Agency (BPA) of the Indonesian Attorney General’s Office is conducting a massive auction of assets seized from criminal activities through the BPA Fair 2026, held from 18 to 21 May 2026. Hundreds of assets with fantastic value are being showcased at the BPA Office in South Jakarta, ranging from luxury cars, branded bags, gold, and jewellery to unique items such as a Pharaoh-style replica chair.
The Head of the Attorney General’s Office BPA, Kuntadi, stated that there are a total of 308 assets across 245 lots being auctioned openly and accountably. According to Kuntadi, the number of assets being auctioned this year is the largest compared to previous periods, where typically only 10 to 20 items were sold per auction period. The volume has now surged to hundreds of assets originating from various major cases.
Public enthusiasm is reported to be overwhelming. According to BPA data, the official BPA Fair website has been visited by over 104,000 people, with 3,400 registered visitors and approximately 100 participants opening auction accounts. Furthermore, hundreds of bidders have already deposited security funds totalling billions of rupiah. Kuntadi noted that 400 participants have deposited auction guarantees amounting to Rp12.7 billion, representing a 300% increase in potential serious buyers for BPA Fair 2026.
Several seized items from high-profile cases are on display, including assets belonging to convict Harvey Moeis, which have captured significant visitor attention. The collection includes luxury cars such as Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, and Mini Cooper, alongside dozens of designer bags from brands including Hermes, Dior, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton, as well as various pieces of luxury jewellery. However, Kuntadi mentioned that the Rolls-Royce and certain other assets are not yet available for bidding as they are still undergoing the official valuation process. Once the valuation is complete, they will proceed to the sales stage.
