300 Seized Items Sold Out, Attorney General's Office Rakes in IDR 922 Billion
Revenue amounted to IDR 922,267,070,000. Thus the BPA Fair event generated, perhaps a profit, but maybe not; rather the difference in price, the increase from the reserve price, totalled IDR 74,758,000,000, according to Kuntadi, head of BPA Kejaksaan RI, after the BPA Fair closed at the BPA office in South Jakarta on Thursday (21 May 2026).
Kuntadi said there were 308 items auctioned in BPA Fair 2026. Of the 308 items, 300 items were sold at auction.
“Regarding the results of the BPA Fair implementation, we have seen together also earlier that of the 308 units or items we put up for sale, 300 items sold. In other words, only 8 items were not sold,” he said.
With that achievement, BPA Fair 2026 surpassed the target set, with 88.64% of items sold. The BPA Fair committee previously targeted 75% of items sold.
“Yes, so the target of this implementation which we had earlier stated as 75%, today we see 88.64%, so I consider the conduct of this activity a success,” he said.
Kuntadi revealed that the BPA Fair activity will become an annual agenda in the future. BPA Fair is hoped to become a catalyst for the execution of other auctions.
“The Attorney General has approved that BPA Fair will become an annual agenda, in addition to the routine sales we carry out, so the BPA Fair activity will be used as a lever for the execution of other auctions,” he said. (dek/dek)
