300 Free Mudik Quotas in Bogor City Fully Booked
BOGOR, KOMPAS.com — Bogor City Police say the 300 quotas for free mudik have been filled. Participants will depart on Monday (16 March 2026). Police Commissioner Rio Wahyu Anggoro explained that mudik participants are divided into two routes, North and South. ‘Total of 300 participants and, alhamdulillah, all are full,’ he told Kompas.com at Bogor City Hall on Sunday night (8 March 2026). There will be additional vehicles for Bogor residents who have not had the opportunity to take part in the free mudik. The number of additional vehicles will also be calculated first in line with the next batch of registrants. ‘If there are further additions, we will provide them. Rather than using motorcycles, it would be better to use the cars we have prepared. We will calculate everything to determine how many quotas there are in total,’ he said. It is known that Bogor City Police have prepared six buses for Bogor residents taking part in the 2026 mudik programme. The programme focuses on residents with Bogor City ID cards. The travel routes are two main corridors in the mudik programme, covering Central Java, namely Semarang and Cilacap.
