30 Personnel Deployed to Tackle Warehouse Fire in Cilincing, North Jakarta

The North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) deployed 30 personnel to extinguish a building fire on Jalan Komplek Kawasan Number F17, RT 01/RW 10, Rorotan Village, Cilincing District, on Friday evening. “We deployed six fire engines with 30 firefighters to extinguish the blaze,” said Gatot Sulaeman, Head of Operations for the North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Gulkarmat, in Jakarta on Friday. He stated that the fire occurred at a known warehouse point, Central Cakung. Officers were alerted to the fire by a resident at 18:53 WIB. Personnel arrived at the scene at 19:02 WIB. “The firefighting process is still ongoing,” Gatot said.
