30 Percent Toll Discount for 2026 Eid Return Flow, Note the Schedule

JAKARTA – The 30 percent toll discount programme will once again be implemented during the 2026 Eid return flow period. This toll fare reduction offers mudik participants an opportunity to cut travel expenses when returning to their hometowns. The policy for the 2026 Eid return flow toll discount applies for two days, from 26 March 2026 at 00:00 WIB to 27 March 2026 at 24:00 WIB. The programme is expected to help alleviate congestion while promoting smoother traffic on main routes. The toll sections receiving the fare cut include the Trans Jawa Toll Road, Trans Sumatra, and Cipularang–Padaleunyi. Quoted from the Jasa Marga Instagram account @official.jasamarga, here are the details of the 2026 Eid return flow toll discount: Toll road users are advised to ensure sufficient electronic money balance when transacting at the destination toll gate exit. If the balance is insufficient, the toll discount cannot be applied. Meanwhile, the peak of the 2026 Eid return flow is estimated to occur in two waves, namely on 24–25 March and 28–29 March. To anticipate congestion, the public is urged to schedule their travel times, including utilising the work-from-home (WFH) policy on 25–27 March 2026. In addition, traffic arrangements such as one-way systems, contraflow, and restrictions on vehicles with three or more axles will continue to be prepared to maintain smoothness during the return flow period.
