30,000 Positions Open for Red and White Village Cooperative Managers: Check Registration Dates and How to Apply

The government has announced the opening of 30,000 vacancies for managers of Village/Urban Village Cooperatives (Kopdes) Merah Putih from 15 to 24 April 2026. Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) stated that these tens of thousands of Kopdes Merah Putih managers will be appointed as employees of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMNs). “Registration opens from today. Please disseminate openly that it is from 15 April 2026 to 24 April 2026,” Zulhas said during a meeting at the Coordinating Ministry for Food Affairs office in Jakarta on Wednesday (15/4/2026). Registration can be done through phtc.pansel.go.id, coordinated by the BUMN Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN). The General Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) emphasised that all stages of this registration do not incur any fees. Registration is only open through the website https://phtc.panselnas.go.id/, not at the Ministry of Cooperatives, the Coordinating Ministry for Food, PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, or the Ministry of Villages and Underdeveloped Regions Development. “So all selection stages do not charge any fees whatsoever,” Zulhas explained. Furthermore, he reminded the public to be cautious of information on social media that might claim to be recruiting Kopdes Merah Putih managers. He also affirmed that there are no special channels and no parties that can guarantee passing in this recruitment process. “There are no assignments, no parties that can guarantee passing. If there is a party asking for compensation with a promise of passing, that means it’s a scam, a lie. There isn’t any, just participate fairly,” Zulhas said. He explained that the 30,000 managers will be under the state-owned company PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara with a Fixed-Term Employment Agreement (PKWT) contract. In addition to Kopdes Merah Putih, the government is also recruiting 5,476 Managers of Red and White Fishery Villages (KNMP). These KNMP employees will also hold BUMN employee status with PKWT contracts. They will be under PT Agrinas Jaladri Nusantara. “The same, all of them are Fixed-Term Employment Agreements,” Zulhas clarified. For information, the government targets building 80,000 Kopdes Merah Putih in 2026. These cooperatives will serve as distribution points for social assistance and off-takers for various commodities in rural areas. Additionally, the government is accelerating the development of Red and White Fishery Villages. These villages are said to be supported by facilities including cold storage.
