30,000 KDKMP Manager Candidates to Begin Placement in August 2026

Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono has announced that around 30,000 prospective managers for the Village/Sub-district Red and White Cooperatives (KDKMP) will begin their placements in the first week of August 2026, following the completion of competency training. The minister stated during a visit to Cimahi, West Java, on Friday that the candidates will undergo training from 17 to 31 July 2026 as part of the manager formation process. He noted that 60 per cent of the participants are women. The government is targeting the completion of approximately 35,000 KDKMP buildings, including warehouses, outlets, and supporting facilities, by August. The placement mechanism prioritises candidates who originate from the respective village or sub-district. If local candidates are unavailable, assignments will be rotated from the village, sub-district, district, to provincial levels. Deputy for Talent Development and Cooperative Competitiveness Destry Anna Sari explained that this approach is designed to ensure effective cooperative management by considering the candidates’ familiarity with local social and economic conditions.
