3-in-1 bothersome
3-in-1 bothersome
From Bisnis Indonesia
The Jakarta administration is now enforcing its three-in-one
policy that requires cars to carry a minimum of three passengers
to be able to pass certain streets during certain hours of the
morning and afternoon.
I have had an annoying experience regarding this policy.
It is understood that the slow lane from Jl. Gatot Subroto
toward Jl. Jend. Sudirman -- or to be exact on the Semanggi
Clover Leaf at the bend in front of the GKBI building -- has been
closed to make it easy for the police to watch vehicles entering
Jl. Sudirman.
As a result, all cars must enter the fast lane on Jl.
Sudirman.
I wanted to go to the GKBI building but could not approach it
as I had to enter the fast lane before entering the slow lane.
The gate of the GKBI building lies before the entrance to the
slow lane. Given this condition, I had to enter the BRI II
building, which is close to the GKBI building, before I finally
got to the GKBI building.
The difficult access to the slow lane on Jl. Sudirman has also
led to heavy congestion on the fast lane.
Perhaps the police can continue monitoring vehicles entering
Jl. Sudirman without closing the slow lane from Jl. Gatot Subroto
toward Jl. Sudirman.
