3,886 Students Pass USK's 2026 SNBT, 808 KIP Kuliah Recipients
Syiah Kuala University (USK) has officially announced the results of the 2026 National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT). A total of 3,886 candidates have been declared successful as new students at the oldest state university in Aceh.
USK Rector Professor Mirza Tabrani expressed high appreciation for candidates who succeeded in this year’s competitive selection. He stated that this achievement is the result of the students’ hard work and dedication during the national selection process.
“Alhamdulillah, we congratulate our students who have been admitted to USK. This is a milestone to be grateful for and marks the beginning of a new journey in higher education,” said Professor Mirza Tabrani in Banda Aceh on Tuesday (26 May).
During the 2026 SNBT, 10 programmes at USK were the most popular with the highest number of applicants. Intense competition occurred in the health, engineering, and social humanities fields. The list of preferred programmes is as follows:
For candidates who did not pass the SNBT route, Rector Mirza reminded them not to lose heart. There is still one last chance to join USK through the West Region Independent Selection (SMMPTN) pathway.
“Do not lose hope. The Independent route is already open from 4 May to 11 June 2026, with exams scheduled from 17 to 24 June 2026. Please take advantage of this opportunity,” he stressed.
