From Yogyakarta, PT Busana Agracipta Remaja 1 has successfully exported 3,702 boxes of underwear to the Japanese and German markets on Thursday (12/3/2026). The shipment was carried out using two 40-foot containers, with an estimated foreign exchange value of US$363,143 or approximately Rp6 billion.
The Head of the Yogyakarta Customs Office, Imam Sarjono, stated that this achievement serves as concrete proof of the competitiveness of Indonesian garment products in the global market. “This export demonstrates that domestic products, particularly from the textile and garment sector, are capable of meeting international market standards and needs,” said Imam.
The Yogyakarta Customs Office continues to commit to providing optimal services and supervision to support the smooth running of export activities. According to him, a fast and compliant process is key to maintaining business actors’ trust in the facilities provided by the government.
Imam emphasised that Customs not only acts as a regulator but also as a facilitator of international trade. He mentioned that the support provided aims to encourage the growth of export-oriented industries while increasing the country’s foreign exchange contributions.
This export success is expected to motivate other industry players to continuously improve the quality and production capacity. Thus, local products will not only be able to compete but also become the primary choice in the global market.
