A total of 28 Rohingya immigrants in Lhokseumawe City, Aceh, have been relocated to a new temporary shelter. The Head of the Lhokseumawe Immigration Office, Rizky Ardhian, stated that the relocation was carried out because the previous shelter would be renovated into an immigration service office. β€œThe new location is a Community Center in Blang Mangat District, which is more suitable and has complete facilities,” he said on Thursday. The new shelter is equipped with a clinic, clean water, dormitories, a prayer room, and a study room. The relocation process was conducted jointly by the Lhokseumawe Immigration Office, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the local government.
