271,215 Vehicles Enter Nusantara Regional Toll Roads During Three-Day Long Weekend
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, through its Jasamarga Nusantara Tollroad Regional Division (JNT/Regional Nusantara), recorded 271,215 vehicles passing through three sections of the Nusantara Regional Toll Road during the Ascension of Jesus Christ long weekend from Wednesday to Friday (May 13-15, 2026).
This figure represents a 13.88% increase compared to the normal traffic volume of 238,150 vehicles.
Senior General Manager of JNT/Regional Nusantara, Tyas Pramoda Wardhani, stated that the increased vehicle volume occurred across all toll road sections under the management of Regional Nusantara.
“Jasa Marga consistently ensures that all operational facilities and infrastructure function optimally to guarantee smooth transactions and comfortable travel during the Ascension of Jesus Christ long weekend,” said Tyas in a press release on Saturday (May 16, 2026).
According to Jasa Marga’s data, the Solo–Yogyakarta–NYIA Kulon Progo segment, specifically the Kartasura–Prambanan section, experienced the highest increase in traffic volume.
Specifically, 33,297 vehicles traveled towards Yogyakarta via the Prambanan Toll Gate (GT), a 72.43% increase compared to the normal traffic of 19,311 vehicles.
Meanwhile, 25,265 vehicles were recorded leaving Yogyakarta through the Prambanan GT, representing a 40.75% increase compared to the normal condition of 17,950 vehicles.
The Nusa Dua–Ngurah Rai–Benoa toll road section recorded a traffic volume of 182,118 vehicles, an increase of 6.89% compared to the normal volume of 170,377 vehicles.
The Balikpapan–Samarinda toll road was traversed by 33,058 vehicles, an increase of 10.14% compared to the normal traffic volume of 30,014 vehicles.
The company ensures that all operational facilities and infrastructure are functioning optimally to support smooth travel for users during the long weekend.
Road users are also advised to ensure their vehicles are in good condition, top up sufficient electronic money balances before traveling, and comply with traffic signs while driving on toll roads.
