270 Foreign Nationals in Bali Apply for Emergency Residence Permits Following Middle East Conflict
A total of 270 foreign nationals (WNA) in Bali have applied for emergency residence permits (ITKT) due to the Middle East conflict.
According to detikBali on Tuesday 10 March 2026, 35 foreign nationals affected by flight cancellations owing to the situation in the Middle East and meeting emergency administrative requirements have received overstay fee exemptions. This data is recorded from 28 February 2026 to 8 March 2026.
A total of 40 outbound flights from Bali to Doha, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi have been cancelled from 28 February to 8 March 2026.
The Head of the Bali Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Directorate General of Immigration (Ditjen), Felucia Sengky Ratna, emphasised that the institution is committed to handling this situation with a humanitarian approach, whilst remaining firm in accordance with applicable regulations.
“Bali Immigration is fully committed to being proactive in providing certainty of easy and fast immigration services. However, at the same time,” said Sengky.
“We also ensure that field supervision remains strict so that the security and public order situation in Bali remains conducive and there are no loopholes for misuse of regulations,” she added.
