266 Grams of Crystal Meth Allegedly Controlled from Dompu Prison
The trafficking of 266.25 grams of crystal meth in Bima Regency is suspected to have been controlled from behind the bars of the Dompu Correctional Institution, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). Police have named three individuals as suspects in this case.
The Director of Narcotics at the NTB Police, Kombes Roman Smaradhana Elhaj, revealed that the crystal meth was seized by the Bima Police Narcotics Unit during an arrest in the Woha sub-district, Bima Regency, on January 15, 2026.
“The evidence is 266.25 grams of crystal meth,” said Roman, Thursday (February 26, 2026).
The three suspects are Indratul Rahman (22) and M Rangga Aditya (21), residents of Rato Village, Bolo sub-district, Bima Regency, and Dewi Sulastri (28), a resident of Waduwani Village, Woha sub-district, Bima Regency.
Indratul and Rangga are known to have collected the crystal meth from Dewi after communicating by telephone.
“They communicated by telephone and met in Naru Village, Woha sub-district, Bima,” he said.
According to Roman, the two acted on the orders of a person named Rizka, who is suspected of being a prisoner at the Dompu Correctional Institution.
“The perpetrators were ordered to collect the crystal meth and then hand it over to an unidentified person,” he said.
The four packages of crystal meth were planned to be handed over to an unidentified person in Talabiu Village, Woha sub-district, Bima Regency. The perpetrators were promised a reward of IDR 3 million.

For their actions, the suspects are charged with violating Article 114 Paragraph (2) of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, in conjunction with Article II Paragraph (11) of the Appendix to Law No. 1 of 2026 concerning Amendments to Criminal Penalties and/or Article 609 paragraph (2) letter a of Law No. 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code, in conjunction with Article VII Number 50 Article 609 paragraph (2) letter a of Law No. 1 of 2026 concerning Amendments to Criminal Penalties, or Article 132 paragraph (2) of Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, in conjunction with Article II Paragraph (11) of the Appendix II to Law No. 1 of 2026 concerning Amendments to Criminal Penalties.
