Jakarta - A total of 257,546 vehicles were recorded entering the island of Sumatra via the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) during the period of 23 March 2026. Several toll road sections recorded significant surges, including the Padang-Sicincin Toll Road with 10,514 vehicles or an increase of 459.85%, and the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road Sections 2-6 (Seulimeum-Baitussalam) with 17,206 vehicles or up 455.03% compared to normal traffic. In addition, the Pekanbaru-XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road recorded 19,430 vehicles or an increase of 308.45%, and the Bengkulu-Taba Penanjung Toll Road with 5,893 vehicles or up 283.41%. Other sections such as the Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat Toll Road also recorded 57,792 vehicles or an increase of 258.07%, and the Indrapura-Kisaran Toll Road with 28,279 vehicles or up 218.74%. Meanwhile, on toll road sections operated functionally during the Eid return flow, the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road Section 1 (Seulimeum-Padang Tiji) recorded traffic of 6,071 vehicles. The Palembang-Betung Toll Road (Kramasan-Pangkalan Balai) recorded 6,453 vehicles.
