249 Elementary Students in Jakarta Participate in Inspirational Class Programme

A total of 249 students at SD Negeri Menteng Dalam 11 Pagi, South Jakarta, participated in an inspirational class programme featuring dozens of corporate volunteers as teachers on Thursday (25/6). PT Patra Jasa President Director Ray SM Daulay stated that the activity is part of the company’s commitment to supporting the improvement of education quality from an early age. “Through this programme, we want to share knowledge, experience, and positive values with the younger generation. Education is the main foundation for building the nation’s future,” Ray said. The programme, titled Patra Jasa Mengajar, involved 53 Patra Jasa officers as teachers and facilitators. The activities were delivered through an interactive approach to create a more engaging learning atmosphere for students. In addition to the learning activities, the company also distributed educational facilities and infrastructure assistance to the students. The aid included active speakers, three-colour waste bins, a multifunction printer, misty fans, goal nets, tarpaulins, mats, and stationery. He stated that Patra Jasa Mengajar embodies the company’s commitment to delivering sustainable benefits to the community, particularly in the education sector. Ray added that the momentum of Patra Jasa’s 51st anniversary is not only interpreted as a celebration of the company’s business journey but also as an opportunity to strengthen social contributions that can be directly felt by the community. “We want to provide benefits that can be felt directly by the community, while encouraging the active involvement of Patra Jasa officers in creating a sustainable social impact,” he said. Patra Jasa Mengajar has been running since 2024 and is entering its third year of implementation. Previously, the programme was held in Bogor and Bekasi. This year, the activity was expanded to South Jakarta, targeting primary school environments. The activity was also attended by PT Patra Jasa Property Director Dani N.A. Sulaeman and the management of PT Patra Jasa. The presence of the company’s leadership served as a form of support for strengthening the Social and Environmental Responsibility programme focused on education. The Head of SD Negeri Menteng Dalam 11 Pagi, Sri Restioningsih, appreciated the implementation of the programme. According to her, the presence of the Patra Jasa officers provided a different learning experience for the students. “We express our gratitude for the attention and support given by PT Patra Jasa to our school. The presence of Patra Jasa officers as teachers and the educational facilities and infrastructure assistance provided brought new experiences and increased the children’s enthusiasm for learning,” Sri said. She hopes that collaboration between the business world and schools can continue so that more students can benefit and be motivated to achieve their aspirations. Through this programme, Patra Jasa affirmed its commitment not only to focus on business development but also to play an active role in improving the quality of human resources from an early age.
