24 houses gutted by fire
JAKARTA (JP): Twenty four houses were gutted by fire, believed to have been caused by a short circuit, on Jl. Kapuk Raya in Penjaringan district, North Jakarta, on Saturday.
According to officers of the North Jakarta fire brigade, eight fire engines were deployed to put out the fire which started at 4:35 p.m.
The fire, which caused no casualties, was extinguished at 7 p.m., he said. (hhr)
