24+ Hour Stream at the Peak of PKS's 24th Anniversary, Transforming Celebration into Movement
The Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) commemorated its 24th anniversary with a series of activities that go beyond mere ceremonial events, serving as a momentum to strengthen real movements in facing the nation’s challenges. Embracing the spirit of “Together with the People to Strengthen Indonesia’s Resilience”, this year’s anniversary commemoration focuses on bolstering economic, food, and energy resilience as the foundation of national independence. Chairman of the 24th Anniversary Committee of PKS, who is also the Deputy Chairman of PKS for Farmers, Livestock Breeders, and Fishermen Affairs, Riyono Caping, stressed that PKS’s increasing maturity must be accompanied by more tangible contributions to society. According to him, the global situation full of uncertainties demands the nation’s readiness to strengthen strategic sectors that directly touch the people’s needs. “From celebration to movement. This is the focus and effort of PKS in the 24th Anniversary agenda. Increasing age brings greater challenges, thus requiring concrete steps to strengthen economic, food, and energy resilience to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty,” said Riyono in his statement on Sunday (26/4/2026). He explained that economic, food, and energy resilience are not just sectoral issues, but the main pillars in maintaining national stability and public welfare. Therefore, the series of 24th Anniversary activities are designed to present ideas, collaborations, and real solutions involving various elements of society. As the peak of the 24th Anniversary commemoration series, PKS will also hold the 24+ Hour Stream activity, a live broadcast programme featuring national figures, practitioners, and the public to dialogue on the nation’s strategic issues. “As part of the 24th Anniversary series of PKS, we will hold the 24+ Hour Stream activity broadcast live via PKS TV on Sunday, 26 April 2026 from 14.00 to 20.00 WIB. This activity becomes a space for dialogue together with the people to discuss strengthening economic, food, and energy resilience as the nation’s strategic agenda,” added Riyono. Through the 24th Anniversary activities series, PKS hopes to continue strengthening its role as a party close to the people and present in providing solutions to various challenges faced by the nation. The spirit of togetherness with the people is expected to become the main energy in building an independent, resilient, and sovereign Indonesia.
