23 Victims of TransJakarta Collision on Elevated 'Sky' Route Discharged from Hospital
A total of 23 people were injured in a head-on collision between two TransJakarta buses on the elevated Corridor 13 route, commonly referred to as the ‘sky route’. All victims reportedly sustained minor injuries and received medical treatment before being discharged from hospital.
“Twenty-three passengers sustained minor injuries and were evacuated to Sari Asih Ciledug Hospital and Bhakti Asih General Hospital. All have been discharged from hospital,” said TransJakarta Head of Public Relations and CSR Ayu Wardhani in a statement on Monday (23/2/2026).
In addition to the passengers, the two drivers involved in the incident were confirmed to be in good condition. TransJakarta assured it would cover all medical expenses.
“There were 23 victims and all costs are fully covered by TransJakarta,” she said.
Regarding operational services, TransJakarta confirmed that Corridor 13 continues to operate normally and remains accessible to other fleet vehicles. The evacuation of the buses involved in the incident was completed at 10.50 Western Indonesian Time.
With regard to legal proceedings, TransJakarta has handed the case entirely to the police. The incident is currently being handled by the Jakarta Metropolitan Police.
