23 Investment Galleries Opened Simultaneously
The Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), together with MNC Sekuritas and supported by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), simultaneously inaugurated 23 BEI Investment Galleries (GI BEI) in various regions yesterday.
BEI Development Director Iding Pardi expressed appreciation to MNC Sekuritas and 23 educational institutions for their commitment, synergy and ongoing collaboration with BEI in expanding inclusion and literacy of the Indonesian capital market.
According to Iding, the opening of Investment Galleries is a tangible manifestation of synergy between BEI, securities companies and educational institutions in bringing the capital market closer to the public, particularly the younger generation.
“One of BEI’s strategic efforts to expand capital market literacy and inclusion is through developing the GI BEI network, as a means to bring the capital market closer to the public, particularly the younger generation,” said Iding.
Iding explained that these efforts continue to be expanded by BEI, which now has more than one thousand Investment Galleries spread across 29 representative offices and the Jabodebek area.
This includes 137 Investment Galleries established in cooperation with MNC Sekuritas.
“The 23 GI BEI inaugurated simultaneously consist of GI BEI, GI Edukasi BEI, GI Digital BEI and GI Syariah BEI spread across various regions of Indonesia. The inauguration covers GI BEI at various universities, including Universitas Mohammad Husni Thamrin, Universitas Sahid, Universitas Bina Insani, Universitas Kristen Krida Wacana, MNC University, Institut Bisnis dan Komunikasi Swadaya, Jakarta Global University, Universitas Nusa Putra, Universitas Galuh, Universitas Mulawarman, Universitas IBA, Universitas Bandar Lampung, Universitas Respati Indonesia, Universitas Cipasung, and Universitas Palembang,” he explained.
Iding further explained that GI Edukasi BEI were also inaugurated at SMK Pariwisata Metland School, SMAN 74 Jakarta, SMKN 15 Jakarta, and SMAN 80 Jakarta; GI Digital BEI at Yayasan Gerbang Kolaborasi Nusantara and Yayasan Kalam Kudus; as well as GI Syariah BEI at UIN Kendari and Universitas Mandala Waluya.
In addition to the inauguration of 23 GI BEI, the series of activities also recorded an achievement of 5,938 IDX Mobile subscribers, exceeding the initial target of five subscribers.
This data represents achievements up to 17 August 2026.
“Through the synergy between BEI, MNC Sekuritas, OJK and all GI BEI partners, this activity is expected to further strengthen the role of GI BEI as a centre for capital market education and information in various regions. Not only expanding the reach of education, the existence of GI BEI is also expected to encourage the public to better understand investment, access accurate information, and participate in the capital market wisely and in accordance with their investment objectives,” he concluded.
