During this year’s Lebaran transport period, which runs from 11 March to 1 April 2026, KAI is providing a total seating capacity of 1,076,196 seats. “Total tickets sold or reserved: 719,988 tickets. The average seat occupancy rate is currently approximately 67 per cent,” said Franoto.

Franoto stated that the highest sales period occurred on 11–20 March (homecoming and pre-holiday period) with a total of 468,795 tickets sold or reserved by the public.

The dates with the highest sales were 14 March with 51,128 tickets, 15 March with 52,008 tickets, and 16 March with 51,584 tickets. This was followed by 17 March (49,557 tickets), 18 March (49,507 tickets), 19 March (49,203 tickets), and 20 March (49,219 tickets).

“During this period, the remaining seats were at their lowest, averaging fewer than 1,000 seats per day,” said Franoto.
