22,000 telephone lines for Bogor

JAKARTA (JP): The Bogor Telecommunications Office has 22,000
telephone lines available for residents of the town and will
distribute application forms to all sub-districts.

Spokesman for the office, Djoko Bisowarno, said on Thursday
that the forms are available free of charge to prospective
customers at all local sub-district offices, Kompas reported.

"After filling in the forms, prospective customers are
required to place them in the boxes installed at sub-district
offices. They can also send the forms directly to my office on
Jl.Pengadilan," Djoko said.

He said this new marketing system is primarily aimed at
fulfilling the ever growing demand for telephone lines among
Bogor residents.

"We will most likely offer more than 22,000 telephone lines if
the applications turn out to be more than that," Djoko said.
