22 Toll Gates at Cikatama GT Operational for Lebaran Return Flow
JAKARTA - PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) is operating 22 transaction gates at Gerbang Tol (GT) Cikampek Utama (Cikatama) for the Lebaran return flow towards Jakarta. Meanwhile, for the Trans-Java Toll direction, JTT is currently operating 8 transaction gates at GT Cikatama. The adjustment of gate operations is being carried out to support the implementation of situational local one-way traffic engineering at the discretion of the Police to alleviate vehicle density heading to the Jakarta area. Vice President Corporate Secretary & Legal of PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol, Ria Marlinda Paallo, stated that the regulation of the number of transaction gates is done dynamically, taking into account the on-site traffic conditions. JTT urges all toll road users to prioritise road safety by preparing their physical condition and vehicles before travelling. Toll users are also expected to ensure sufficient electronic money balance, follow directions from on-site officers, and adhere to applicable traffic signs. PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk is providing a 30 percent toll fare discount during the Lebaran return flow period in 2026. This fare reduction applies for two days, namely 26-27 March 2026, on nine Jasa Marga Group toll roads for continuous journeys. This policy is announced amid government appeals for the public to avoid peak return flow dates predicted on certain specific dates. “We also remind mudik participants to take advantage of the 30 percent toll fare discount during the two-day return flow period, namely 26-27 March 2026, on 9 Jasa Marga Group toll roads with continuous journeys,” said Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A. Purwantono. He stated that the purpose of the toll fare discount is to distribute traffic volume so that it does not concentrate on the peak return flow. “The objective is the same as recommended by the Minister of Transportation and the National Police Traffic Corps Chief, namely to ensure controlled distribution of return flow traffic volume and provide a more comfortable journey for the public,” Rivan explained. In facing the return flow, Jasa Marga is strengthening services on main toll roads by optimising toll gates, preparing service fleets, and conducting situational traffic management.
