22 Digital Platforms Identified as High Risk for Children by Ministry of Communication and Digital

The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) released the results of a risk mapping study regarding digital products, services, and features (PLF) affecting children on 14 September 2026. This step is part of a six-month evaluation of the implementation of Government Regulation (PP) Number 17 of 2025 concerning the Governance of Electronic System Implementation for Child Protection (PP TUNAS).

Based on data sourced from Antara, as of 6 September 2026, 94 Electronic System Providers (PSE) have conducted self-assessments on 252 products. From this total, Komdigi has verified 60 PLFs, finding that 38 products are low-risk, while 22 products have been identified as having a high-risk profile for children.

To date, 14 of these 22 PLFs have been officially designated through a Decision by the Director General of Digital Space Supervision, while the remaining 8 are still undergoing administrative finalisation despite having been verified as high-risk.

This identification aims to provide guidance for parents and electronic system providers to enhance digital security standards for underage users in Indonesia.
