214 Bus Drivers at Pulogebang Integrated Terminal Utilise Free Health Check Services

Jakarta (ANTARA) - As many as 214 bus drivers at the Pulogebang Integrated Terminal in East Jakarta utilised the Free Health Check (CKG) service during the period from 14 to 28 March 2026. The CKG programme includes several basic examinations, such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and screening for communicable/non-communicable diseases according to age group, and only requires an ID card for data reporting. “Since the mudik flow on 14 March until the return flow on 28 March, 214 bus drivers have come to the terminal’s health post for free health checks,” said one of the doctors named Nanda when met by Antara in Jakarta on Saturday. According to her, high blood pressure or hypertension was the most commonly found condition at the Pulogebang Terminal health post. “So far, there have been quite a few cases of high blood pressure among drivers. They only find out after screening,” Nanda stated. Nevertheless, she said that so far there have been no findings of serious illnesses that require referral to a hospital. She also mentioned that the medical supplies at the health post are still sufficient. “Because cases are quite busy, we also provide measles vaccinations for children who haven’t received them,” said Sri. Furthermore, she revealed that every day, around nine personnel are on standby at the health post. “Usually, we rotate from the community health centre. One team typically consists of a doctor, nurse, environmental health officer, analyst, admin staff, and driver,” Sri explained. On the other hand, the Commander of the Pulogebang Terminal Operational Squad, Daryanto, said that the health service post at the terminal has been operating since 14 March until 29 March 2026. “Because schoolchildren start on 30 March,” Sri concluded.
