21 Trucks Caught in Illegal Parking Raid on Jalan Cargo Denpasar

The Denpasar City Transportation Agency (Dishub) took action against freight trucks parking on the shoulder of Jalan Cargo, Ubung Kaja, North Denpasar, on Monday morning (20/7/2026). A total of 21 vehicles were caught during the operation. “We directed them to park at the owner’s warehouse and the Dishub freight transport warehouse. Meanwhile, four trucks were stickered because the drivers were not present,” said Putu Eddy Candra Ningrat, Head of the Law Enforcement Section at the Denpasar City Dishub. According to Eddy, the enforcement was carried out because parking on the shoulder of Jalan Cargo has the potential to disrupt traffic flow. Given the high vehicle mobility on that road section, drivers are urged not to park their vehicles carelessly. The enforcement operation involved 10 Dishub personnel deployed after the morning assembly. This activity is part of the supervision and control of traffic and road transport policy implementation in Denpasar. “We have issued appeals to maintain order and follow the directions given. Signage enforcement is also carried out to ensure public safety,” he added. Regarding plans for a freight transport terminal in Denpasar, he concluded that discussions are still ongoing and it is hoped a solution will be found soon.
