21 Regional Leaders Receive Bakti Koperasi Nayaka Mahambara at Koperasi Awards 2026
The recipients of the Koperasi Awards 2026 in the Bakti Koperasi Nayaka Mahambara category have been announced, with 21 regional leaders receiving the honour. The awards ceremony was held by detikcom together with the Indonesian Ministry of Cooperatives (Kemenkop), with the peak event broadcast via live streaming on detikcom on Thursday evening, 20 August 2026.
The regional leaders receiving this award were deemed to have contributed to accelerating the formation of Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih (KDKMP) and developing cooperatives in their respective regions. The award is given to state officials who provide guidance and broad support for the advancement of cooperatives. Such support is considered an important part of strengthening the cooperative ecosystem so that it continues to grow, remain competitive, and provide wider benefits to the community.
The 21 regional leaders receiving the Koperasi Awards 2026 in the Bakti Koperasi Nayaka Mahambara category are: Johannes Rettob, Regent of Mimika; Kasmarni, Regent of Bengkalis; Andi Asman Sulaiman, Regent of Bone; Ardiansyah Sulaiman, Regent of East Kutai; Fahmi Fadli, Regent of Paser; Rusdi Sutejo, Regent of Pasuruan; Ika Puspitasari, Mayor of Mojokerto; Dadang Supriatna, Regent of Bandung; Hari Wuryanto, Regent of Madiun; Harda Kiswaya, Regent of Sleman; Abdul Halim Muslih, Regent of Bantul; Toha, Regent of Musi Banyuasin; Asgianto, Regent of Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir; Ratu Dewa, Mayor of Palembang; Suhaidi, Regent of Gayo Lues; Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena, Governor of East Nusa Tenggara; Andi Sudirman Sulaiman, Governor of South Sulawesi; Ahmad Luthfi, Governor of Central Java; Khofifah Indar Parawansa, Governor of East Java; Herman Deru, Governor of South Sumatra; and Andra Soni, Governor of Banten.
The Koperasi Awards 2026 featured five award categories recognising individuals with different contributions to the cooperative movement: Bakti Koperasi Makarti Guna Swasembada, Bakti Koperasi Satya Bhakti Pamong Artha, Bakti Koperasi Nayaka Mahambara, Bakti Koperasi Pradana Nayaka, and Anugerah Amerta Bakti. The event serves as a moment to appreciate various figures who have taken an active role in fostering, developing, and strengthening cooperatives as part of the people’s economy movement.
Discussions about cooperatives in Indonesia cannot be separated from the figure of Mohammad Hatta, the first Vice President of Indonesia, known as the Father of Indonesian Cooperatives for his ideas in positioning cooperatives as one of the foundations of the people’s economy. For Bung Hatta, cooperatives were not merely business entities but also a vehicle for building the economy based on the spirit of togetherness and mutual cooperation. This thinking has become an important part of the cooperative movement’s journey in Indonesia to this day, including through President Prabowo Subianto’s priority programme, Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih (KDKMP).
The Koperasi Awards 2026 was organised by the Ministry of Cooperatives of the Republic of Indonesia together with Detikcom, supported by PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero), PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, PT Pertamina (Persero), PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, LPDB Koperasi, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, ID FOOD, PT Jaminan Kredit Indonesia (Persero), PT Pegadaian (Persero), BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, and BPJS Kesehatan.
