2027 State Budget: Prabowo Targets 6% Economic Growth

President Prabowo Subianto delivered the government’s statement on the 2027 Draft State Budget (RAPBN) along with its financial note during a plenary session of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) at the Parliamentary Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, today. Before the DPR leadership and members, Prabowo stated that the Indonesian economy continues to grow strongly. Economic growth in the first semester of 2026 was cited as the highest in the last 13 years. Up to the end of July 2026, state revenue grew by 21.3% while state expenditure grew by 18.2%.
