2027 Hajj Health Officer Selection Opens: Check How to Register and Requirements
Registration for Hajj Pilgrimage Organising Officers (PPIH) for 1448 H/2027 M, specifically for health personnel, has officially opened. The process began today and will run until 26 August 2026, and can be completed online.
Registration is conducted through the official Hajj Officer website. It should be noted that one National Identity Number (NIK) can only be used for one account.
The registration stages are as follows:

After that, participants simply wait for the announcement from the registration process. Participants who pass will be called to proceed to the next stage.
The next process is the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) on 31 August 2026, as well as a Medical Check-Up (MCU) from 3-8 September 2026.

Requirements and How to Register for 2027 Hajj Health Officers
To register as a 2027 Hajj health officer, there are a number of requirements that must be met. One of them is having at least two years of experience in the relevant field and holding an emergency response certificate.
The age of applicants is also limited from 25 to 57 years for pilgrimage group health workers, while sector and KKHI health workers must be aged 27 to 55 years.
The complete registration requirements are as follows:
General Requirements:
Indonesian citizen
Muslim
Physically and mentally healthy, evidenced by a Health Certificate issued by a government doctor
Not pregnant (for women)
Have husband’s permission for married women
Fully committed to serving Hajj pilgrims
Have integrity, credibility, and a good track record, and not currently a suspect in a criminal legal process
Have a valid population identity document
Have an active BPJS Kesehatan card
Civil servants (ASN), TNI/Polri personnel, and employees must attach written evidence from the outset from the highest leadership in the human resources division of their originating institution/office (the Ministry is not responsible for the issuance of permits from the applicant’s institution/office). Specifically for TNI/Polri, written evidence from the highest leadership of MABES must be attached
Able to operate computer applications and/or Android and/or iOS-based mobile applications
Preferably able to speak Arabic and/or English
PPIH Saudi Arabia and PPIH Pilgrimage Group applicants must not be currently undertaking study assignments
Married couples are prohibited from serving as PPIH Pilgrimage Group, PPIH Saudi Arabia, PPIH Saudi Arabia Support, and PHD in the same year
Must not have served as PPIH Pilgrimage Group or PPIH Saudi Arabia three times since 2023
Specific Requirements:
Age 25-57 years for pilgrimage group health workers
Age 27-55 years for health workers in sectors and KKHI
Minimum 2 years of work experience according to specialisation, evidenced by a Work Experience Certificate from the institution’s leadership
Have a Registration Certificate (STR)
Specifically for nurses, doctors, and pharmacists/pharmacy vocational workers, must have a valid Registration Certificate (STR) and Practice Licence (SIP). If the SIP is in the process of renewal, a SIP Extension Certificate issued by the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) or the District/City Health Office must be attached
Applicants for the Sector Health Team, Sector Rapid Reaction Team sub-specialisation, are preferably male
Doctors and nurses must attach an official emergency response certificate that is still valid
Hajj health management workers must attach a decree document for hajj health management assignment, both at provincial and district/city level
Have a diploma according to the task specialisation
Infection control worker applicants are preferably preventive medicine doctors and/or nurses
Mandatory Administrative Requirements:
Identity Card (KTP)
Registration Certificate (STR)
Practice Licence (SIP) or SIP Extension Certificate issued by DPMPTSP/District/City Health Office if still in the renewal process (mandatory for medical personnel)
Institutional permit letter from the ministry/institution/private sector signed by the direct supervisor and acknowledged by the institution’s leadership
Latest employment decree
Latest diploma according to the task specialisation
Police Record Certificate (SKCK), mandatory for non-civil servants
BPJS Kesehatan card
Statement letter of ability to operate computer and/or mobile phone applications
Statement letter as PPIH
Work Experience Decree
Written husband’s permission letter with stamp duty for female prospective officers
Statement letter of not being pregnant
Emergency response certificate obtained from a certificate-issuing institution after attending theoretical and practical training and still valid (mandatory for doctors and nurses)
