2026 Western Region SMMPTN Selection Results Announced Today at 4 PM

The Western Region State University Independent Selection (SMMPTN-Barat) committee for 2026 will announce the new student admission selection results on Tuesday, 30 June, at 4 PM Western Indonesian Time via the official SMMPTN-Barat website and the websites of participating universities. SMMPTN-Barat 2026 Chairman Ibrahim stated that all selection stages proceeded smoothly and orderly, upholding the principles of transparency, objectivity, accountability, and fairness for all participants. Based on final registration data, SMMPTN-Barat 2026 was joined by 30,525 applicants from various regions in Indonesia. Of that number, 30,315 participants completed the registration process permanently and are entitled to take part in the selection stages according to the applicable provisions. Ibrahim noted that the high public interest in SMMPTN-Barat demonstrates significant trust in the state universities within the Western Region State University Cooperation Agency (BKS-PTN) consortium. In addition to providing broader opportunities for prospective students to pursue higher education, SMMPTN-Barat also offers an efficient selection mechanism as participants can choose up to two study programmes at one or two different universities. BKS-PTN Western Region Chairman Salampak further explained that several state universities with the highest number of UTBK test location participants included Universitas Riau, Universitas Jambi, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Universitas Bengkulu, Universitas Lampung, Universitas Tanjungpura, Universitas Palangka Raya, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang, Universitas Siliwangi, and Universitas Sumatera Utara. The high number of participants at various test locations indicates the increasingly broad reach and equitable distribution of access to higher education in the western part of Indonesia, Salampak said. The committee urges all participants to access the selection result information only through the official SMMPTN-Barat channel, via the link: https://smmptnbarat.id/#pengumuman. Participants are expected to prepare their participant number and identity data used to view the selection results. For participants declared successful, information regarding re-registration, document verification, determination of the Single Tuition Fee (UKT), and other administrative stages will be announced by each respective admitting university. Therefore, participants are requested to actively monitor the official website of their target state university after the announcement of the 2026 UTBK SMMPTN-Barat selection results.
