The disbursement of Tunjangan Hari Raya (THR) for civil servants (PNS) has been officially announced. The ASN THR, including the PNS 2026 THR, has been disbursed in phases since 26 February. ASN at central and regional levels, including PPPK, members of the TNI, police officers, and retirees, can check their accounts according to the procedures in their respective agencies.

‘The THR disbursement began in phases from 26 February and was provided to PNS, CPNS, PPPK, state officials, TNI troops, police officers, and retirees,’ Airlangga said in Jakarta on Tuesday, 3 March 2026.

This means the 2026 THR for ASN has started to be transferred to recipients’ accounts, though the timing may vary depending on administrative processes at the relevant agencies.

The budget increase signals the government’s commitment to preserving the purchasing power of state apparatus and retirees ahead of Eid al-Fitr, and to boosting household consumption in Q1 2026. ‘The components paid are 100 percent in full, including basic salary, family allowances, food allowances, and allowances for position/performance in accordance with applicable regulations,’ he explained.

The government also stressed that THR is different from the 13th salary. If THR is given ahead of Eid al-Fitr, the 13th salary is generally paid in mid-year, around June.

Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa previously stated that the budget had been prepared and the disbursement was expected to take place at the start of Ramadan. ‘At the start of fasting we hope we can already disburse,’ Purbaya said at the Indonesia Economic Outlook (IEO) forum, Friday 13 February 2026.

If funds have not yet entered accounts, it is most likely that administrative processes at the related agencies are still underway.
