2026 Teacher Professional Education Selection: Schedule and Registration Requirements
The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) has opened the 2026 Teacher Professional Education (PPG) selection for prospective teachers. Registration will take place from 27 June to 25 July 2026. The PPG for Prospective Teachers is a professional education programme designed to prepare teachers who are professional, competent, morally upright, highly dedicated, and capable of making a positive impact on their educational institutions and surroundings. The programme is open to graduates with a bachelor’s degree (Sarjana) or a four-year diploma (Diploma IV), from both education and non-education majors, to obtain an educator certificate.
The selection schedule is as follows: Registration runs from 27 June to 25 July 2026. Administrative selection results will be announced from 26 to 28 July 2026. Participant cards can be printed from 28 July to 2 August 2026. The substantive test is scheduled for 3 to 7 August 2026, with results announced on 26 August 2026. Interview schedules will be released on 29 August 2026, and interviews will be conducted from 31 August to 16 September 2026. The final selection results will be announced on 21 September 2026.
Applicants must meet several requirements: they must be Indonesian citizens; not registered as a teacher or headmaster in the national teacher and education personnel database (Dapodik or Simpatika); be a maximum of 32 years old by 31 December of the registration year; hold a bachelor’s or four-year diploma registered in the Higher Education Database (PD-Dikti) or an equivalent database for overseas graduates; have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00; and submit a certificate of physical and mental health, a certificate of good conduct, and a drug-free certificate during the final reporting stage. Applicants must also sign an integrity pact and pass all selection stages, including administrative screening, substantive test, and interview.

Vocational fields include Automotive Engineering, Computer and Telecommunication Network Engineering, Office Management and Business Services, Visual Communication Design, Hospitality, Software and Game Development, Culinary, Welding and Metal Fabrication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Fashion, Tourism Services, Agricultural Product Processing Agritechnology, Marketing, and Building Information Modelling and Design.
